PURPOSE

The corporation shall hold a Judicial Conference (“Conference”) at such time and place as shall be designated by the Board of Trustees. The purposes for which the Conference shall be held are to provide an opportunity for the judges of the courts of the Eighth Judicial District (the “Courts”) to assemble for the purpose of considering the state of business of the Courts and advising ways and means of improving the administration of justice within the Eighth Judicial District (the “District”), and to provide an opportunity for the Delegates and Life Members of the Conference to interact with the Judges of the Courts, to provide for formal and informal dialogue with the Courts, and to otherwise permit the members of the legal community to assist the Courts in seeking the improvements of the administration of justice within the District.
